Decision rules

What it adds

  • Keeps leverage and net worth current.
  • Improves debt-service and liquidity projections.

What it does not do

  • Updating balance does not import payment history.
  • The app does not verify the lender statement.

Common mistakes

What to check

  • Do not enter original principal as current balance.
  • Check whether rate or payment changed at the same time.

Entering a clean-looking value without recording where it came from.

Ignoring currency, ownership percentage or valuation date because the total appears reasonable.

Using ordinary notes for private access information.

Assuming Update a Debt Balance produces advice, verification or execution beyond the workflow described here.
